I think I will always remember this ride. There will always be a place in my memory for this adventure
The roads connecting Andalusia with Portugal through the northern mountain range of Seville are stunning. You change into Huelva having a perfect look at the landscapes full of pigs which produce the best ham in the world.
But I wasn’t heading to Portugal, I was riding directly into the region of Extremadura, a lonely land with impressive roads and icy fogs.
I stopped in the city of Badajoz, a wonderful place full of history and I found a motorcycle rally I had no idea about. The Vulcan Owners Club of Spain held a bike rally so they could show the Christmas lights to the children from a motorcycle.
They’ve been doing it for a while and not even rainy weather was enough to stop them. I had to ask someone about the number of parked bikes on the streets and coincidence made that person to be the President of the Club.
I was soon welcome to join them and I spent a wonderful night out with them. As an old Vulcan rider the whole experience made me feel like home. But what I will never forget is the number of new friends I’ve made. I hope to be back there next year…
See you on the roads!
